Crack/cocaine is a highly addictive form of cocaine that is popular for its intense High. It is a form of the drug that is made using baking soda (sodium barcbonate) in a process to convert cocaine hydrochloride (powder cocaine) into freebase cocaine (methylbenzoylecgonine).

Thanks for explaining the difference between crack and cocaine. Though I agree crack is a terrible drug I hope you and your readers realize that incarceration is not the answer to our drug problem.
